Steve then caught a line drive in left field to win game two for the Strikers. No pressure - Strathclyde were only three runs behind with the bases loaded!!! |
| 4th Aprill 2004 - Steve makes wonder play in his first ever game | It was the first fly-ball Steve had ever seen in a baseball match, what looked like a sure double, hit down the left field line. To the astonishment of most people watching however, steve caught the ball running flat out, even managing to hold onto the ball when he ran into the left field fence protecting him from the dual carrageway to the side of the field. A great catch, deserving of the play of the game! |
